My last few pics of my wonderful vacation in Italy, Austria, and the Czech Republic with 6 good friends and other good people of Czech heritage from Texas . . .
This first collage is from Prague Castle and the Cathedral:
Here is a link to another blogger’s journey across the Charles Bridge. Some of the following pics below were from the bridge and around the city. The pic on the upper right was from Wenceslas Square.
We took a dinner cruise and the view from the river was lovely . . .
They like naked male art in Prague! Some of the street signs were in German, a holdover from older times. And other pics walking around town and in Old Town, Prague:
Děkuji a nashledanou!

Hi Denise – must have been a wonderful trip … Prague was shrouded in plastic when I was there – it was too soon after the 1968 uprising/invasion … your photos are lovely .. cheers Hilary
It really was a great trip with so many good, long-time friends, Hilary. I cannot imagine how the city must have looked back then. I love how many of the Soviet style buildings have been painted and updated to look so much better. Thanks for reading, and, as always, commenting!! I am behind on my blog reading. Cheers, Denise
I have not been to Prague, ever, and to Italy in far too long. My last time there was for my honeymoon in 2001; it was great to take the vicarious trip through your eyes.
I only spent about a day and a half, really, in Prague. There was not enough time, so I really want to go back in the next couple of years. I found it to be a wonderful city and easy to walk around. I am glad you enjoyed the post!
