My French Heritage . . .

I am taking off the month of August as I am in a reading and writing slump and the temperature in Dallas has been over 100 degrees Fahrenheit for 40-plus days. There has been only one day of rain and cool temperatures since late June/early July. See you in September . . .

  1. I can see why you would need a break. I’ve been hearing that Texas is having an awful drought. I hope it cools off for you guys soon.

  2. Jenners, It is has been extremely hot this summer. We usually get only about 15 days over 100 degrees F, but this year there have been over 40 thus far . . . It’s gotten a bit old. We need rain badly. Thanks, MDC

  3. That was the day I left Dallas. When I visited San Diego a few years ago they had gone 168 days without rain and the day I flew out it rained then as well. And a few years ago when I visited New Orleans… well, we all know what happened there. Maybe I’m a Rainmaker.
