Celebration Sunday

Today is the 50th anniversary of the publication of To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee. I first read this book approximately 33 years ago and saw the movie at school around the same time. This book is one of those that I never get tired of rereading.

  1. I love this book too and try to ignore some of the articles coming out lately that claim it does not deserve to be a classic. This book and characters like Boo Radley started me on a decades long love of Southern Literature. Have you read anything by Brad Watson? He has a very good collection of short stories out now. Cheers, Allie

  2. Oh my! I didn’t know that some didn’t want this book deemed a classic. I have not read anything by Brad Watson but will look him up. I love short stories…Take care, Allie!
