oh how I wish I was there now–it is near Paia town just past Sprecklesville . . .

love paia. and i’ve been to the “surfing beach” just past paia. ok, now, i wanna head back to maui. i love it there.

Have you and Steve been there when the whales are there? They just left now until December . . .

yes, we usually go there in february. steve and i saw them 3 years ago from the plantation golf course in kapalua. there were awesome ocean views from some of the golf holes. and then last year, steve and my sister and brother-in-law took a whale watching tour from lahaina. i didn’t go because i get motion-sickness… terribly. they were late getting back to shore. the whale-watching boat had to turn off their motor and just coast because they were swarmed by whales! if you go to my fb photos, there’s a couple whale shots that steve took from that trip.
